A British woman has died after being admitted to the Colombo National Hospital yesterday (1) following a sudden bout of vomiting at a lodging in the Kollupitiya area, along with a couple who were staying there.
Police Media Spokesman, Senior Superintendent of Police Buddhika Manathunga, stated that the deceased was a 24-year-old British national.
Investigations into the incident are being carried out by the police, public health inspectors, officials from the Ministry of Health, and the judicial medical officer. (NewsWire)
