A 38-year-old man has been killed following a domestic dispute in the Walthara area under the Beruwala Police Division.
Police launched an investigation after receiving a report of an injured man found at a house on Sunday night. The victim, identified as a resident of the area, succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to Beruwala Hospital.
Initial investigations have revealed that the incident stemmed from a dispute between the victim and his mistress, during which she allegedly attacked him with a sharp weapon. A 42-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the killing. Beruwala Police are conducting further investigations. (Newswire)
