Former Parliamentarian Angajan Ramanathan has urged President Anura Kumara Dissanayake to reopen key roads in Jaffna.
Taking to ‘X’, Ramanathan said opening roads in Vali North High Security Zone will strengthen harmony and regional development.
“I would like to urge President @anuradisanayake to reopen key roads in Jaffna, aligning with Colombo’s recent road access reforms,” he said.
The request comes, after the President ordered key roads in Colombo to be opened to the public from today.
Accordingly, the President instructed the Police to open Sir Baron Jayathilake Mawatha and Janadhipathi Mawatha near the President’s House. (Newswire)
