Sri Lankan authorities have arrested 114 Chinese nationals suspected of involvement in a large-scale online financial scam, police said.
The arrests were made during a raid on a luxury bungalow in Kundasale, located in the Kandy district.
The police operation, targeting a suspected criminal network, led to the discovery of 15 desktop computers and over 300 mobile phones believed to have been used in the fraudulent scheme.
Investigators searched 47 rooms within the bungalow where the suspects allegedly conducted their activities, police said.
