A 69-year-old man from Kinihirigama, Kekirawa, died after the motorcycle he was traveling on collided with the Udaya Devi train at the Habarana Bellankadawala byway. The train was traveling from Batticaloa to Colombo Fort.
The pillion rider died at the scene, and the rider was hospitalized with serious injuries. The body has been placed in the Dambulla Hospital mortuary, and Habarana Police are conducting further investigations. (NewsWire)
