A 27-year-old German woman, who was among three foreigners hospitalized due to a sudden illness at a hostel on R. A. de Mel Mawatha, Kollupitiya, has passed away.
This follows the death of a 24-year-old British woman from the same hostel, who succumbed after being admitted to the hospital earlier.
Police suspect the cause of death may be linked to inhalation of a toxic gas. Investigations are ongoing. (NewsWire)
