Activist Dan Priyasad was arrested by the police at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) while arriving from Dubai today.
Police stated that Priyasad is accused of attempting to influence a Police Officer-in-Charge (OIC) to prevent the arrest of an alleged drug lord.
According to reports, Priyasad had been residing in Dubai for several months before his return to Sri Lanka.
Authorities have confirmed that further investigations are underway regarding his alleged involvement in the case. (NewsWire)
