THOUSANDS of WhatsApp users have complained that the app is down after being left unable to send or receive messages.
Many users took to social media to ask other people if they were experiencing the same problems.
According to Down Detector, the problems started at around 8:40pm, and are affecting WhatsApp users across the world.
