Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dr. Anil Jayantha told Parliament that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake has written to former U.S. President Donald Trump regarding reciprocal tariffs.
He said an acknowledgment has been received and a meeting with the U.S. Trade Representatives Office is scheduled for 8pm today (8).
