Prince Harry has lost his Court of Appeal challenge over the level of security provided to him while in the UK. The Duke of Sussex’s taxpayer-funded protection was downgraded in 2020 after he stepped back from royal duties.
He appealed the decision, arguing that he was “singled out for different, unjustified and inferior treatment.” However, the Court of Appeal dismissed his case, with Judge Sir Geoffrey Vos stating that while Harry’s team made “powerful and moving arguments,” his grievance did not amount to a valid legal claim.
