CID complaint over statement made on AKD’s alleged Greece money

A complaint has been filed with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) seeking a probe into a comment made by former Acting Director of the National Lotteries Board, Thusitha Halloluwa, on President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. 

The complaint requests the CID to probe Thusitha Halloluwa’s recent claim that the President had made a significant investment in Greece.

The complaint seeking an investigation by the CID was filed at midnight yesterday (04 May). 

This complaint was filed by Attorney-at-Law Akalanka Ukwatte, accompanied by President’s Counsel Upul Kumarapperuma.
