The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Aug 08) compared to Wednesday.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 296.50 to Rs. 296.25, while the selling rate is unchanged at Rs. 305.75.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 298.25 to Rs. 297.65, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 306.25 to Rs. 305.65.
Peoples Bank reports the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 296.65 to Rs. 295.96 and from Rs. 307.29 to Rs. 306.58, respectively.
According to Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 296.18 to Rs. 295.54 and from Rs. 306 to Rs. 305.75, respectively.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 297.50 to Rs. 297 and from Rs. 306.50 to Rs. 306, respectively. (Newswire)
