Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western province and in Galle and Matara districts, the Meteorological Department said.
Fairly heavy showers above 50 mm are likely at some places in the Western, Northern and Eastern provinces, the Meteorological Department said.
Elsewhere in the island showers are likely to occur during the evening or night.
The General public have been requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers. (Newswire)
