Showers are expected in several sea areas off the coast from Puttalam to Matara, via Colombo and Galle, the Department of Meteorology said.
Showers or thundershowers may occur in other sea areas around the island during the afternoon or night, the Department said.
Winds will be westerly to south-westerly with speeds ranging from 30 to 40 kmph, possibly increasing up to 50 kmph in sea areas from Mannar to Pottuvil via Puttalam, Colombo, Galle, and Hambantota.
The sea areas off the coasts from Mannar to Pottuvil, including Puttalam, Colombo, Galle, and Hambantota, may be fairly rough at times, the Meteorology Department said. (Newswire)
