The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Aug 12) compared to last week.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. Rs. 295.75 to Rs. 294.25, while the selling rate also dropped from Rs. 305.25 to Rs. 303.75.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 297 to Rs. 296.10, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 305 to Rs. 304.10.
Peoples Bank reports the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 295.27 to Rs. 294.44 and from Rs. 305.87 to Rs. 305, respectively.
According to Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 294.95 to Rs. 294.21 and from Rs. 304.75 to Rs. 304, respectively.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 296 to Rs. 295.50 and from Rs.305 to Rs. 304.50, respectively. (Newswire)
