Justice Sobhitha Rajakaruna has been appointed as the Acting President of the Court of Appeal by President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
R.M. Sobhitha Rajakaruna was sworn in before the President at the Presidential Secretariat this morning, the President’s Media Division (PMD) said.
Rajakaruna has been appointed as the Acting President of the Court of Appeal, to serve in this role while Justice Nissanka Bandula Karunaratne, the current President, is overseas. Justice Rajakaruna will hold the position until Justice Karunaratne returns. (Newswire)
