The National Election Commission has announced the dates for postal voting for the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election.
Issuing a statement, the Election Commission, said that postal ballots will be issued on the 26th of August.
Accordingly, postal voting for military personnel and government employees will be conducted on the 5th and 6th of September.
Meanwhile, postal voting for employees of district secretariats, election offices and Police will be conducted on the 4th of September, the Election Commission said.
11 and 12 September have been allocated as additional dates for those unable to cast their postal votes.
The Election Commission further said that, however, 712,321 persons are eligible for postal voting in the 2024 Presidential Election. (Newswire)
