The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated slightly against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Aug 28) compared to Tuesday.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar are unchanged at Rs. 296.50 and Rs. 304, respectively.
At NDB bank, the buying and the selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 297.10 to Rs. 296.50 and from Rs. 305.10 to Rs. 304.50, respectively.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 295.17 to Rs. 295.03 and from Rs. 305.77 to Rs. 305.61, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate has dropped from Rs. 295.18 to Rs. 294.44, while the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 305 to Rs. 304.25.
According to Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 296.50 to Rs. 296 and from Rs. 305.50 to Rs. 305, respectively. (Newswire)
