Police Media Spokesman DIG Nihal Thalduwa stated that 17 individuals have been arrested so far in connection with the murder of Club Wasantha.
Among those arrested are a woman, a former Provincial Council member, and two gunmen.
One of the gunmen was arrested on the 23rd of this month, while the other was apprehended yesterday (28th) in the Pinwatta area of Panadura. Thalduwa also mentioned that the driver of the vehicle that provided transportation for the gunmen was arrested yesterday in the Pinwatta area.
