A youth in Nawalapitiya was reportedly assaulted yesterday (15) after refusing to accept a leaflet from a group led by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya’s (SJB) Nawalapitiya organizer.
According to Ada Derana, the incident occurred around 11 a.m. at a clock repair shop in the town center.
The attack, which was captured on the shop’s security camera, took place after the youth declined to take the leaflet handed to him by the organizer and his supporters. The youth, who is the son of the shop’s owner, was injured in the altercation. (Newswire)
