The night mail train from Colombo Fort to Badulla has been cancelled due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions, the Railway Department said.
The disruptions to train services on the upcountry route had led to this decision, the Department said. Therefore, the night mail train, scheduled to depart from Colombo Fort at 8:30 PM, will no longer operate.
Currently, train services on the upcountry line are limited to the section between Colombo Fort and Bandaragama, the Department said. (Newswire)
