The arrested owner of the Athurugiriya tattoo parlor made a 40-minute confidential statement to the Kaduwela Magistrate regarding the murder of Club Wasantha.
After being presented to the court, lawyer Nuwan Jayawardena, representing the suspect Dulan Sanjaya, requested that his client be allowed to give a confidential statement.
He informed the court that the police had pressured Dulan Sanjaya to make a statement previously.
Following this, the court ordered that Dulan Sanjaya and the other eight suspects be remanded until August 5th. (Newswire)
