Celebrated media personality, actor, and storyteller Danu Innasithamby officially launched his long-awaited debut book Jaffna Boy, Colombo Diva at a heartfelt gathering held on the 20th of May 2025 at Cinnamon Life. The event was impeccably curated by Shero Events and brought together an intimate crowd of well-wishers, creatives, and changemakers.

In an emotional highlight of the evening, Danu dedicated the book to his late mother, marking her birth anniversary with the official launch. “This isn’t just my story it’s hers too. Her strength, her silence, and her love have shaped every chapter of this book,” he said in his speech, moving many in the room to tears.
