A military Defender vehicle met with an accident near the Parliament entrance this morning (Sep 25) around 5:30 am, causing traffic congestion in the area.
The vehicle, en route from Pelawatta to Borella, veered off the road and fell into the Diyawanna Canal. Only the driver was present and had escaped unhurt.
