The Ministry of Health says 30,367 premises were inspected today, the third day of the ongoing Special Mosquito Eradication Week.
According to the ministry, of these, 6,465 locations were identified as potential mosquito breeding grounds.
Meanwhile, 752 premises were found to contain mosquito larvae.
As part of the program, 792 red notices were issued, and legal action was taken in 117 cases.
The Special Mosquito Eradication Week, which was launched on June 30, will continue until July 05 across Sri Lanka. (Newswire)
