The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated further against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Aug 23) compared to Thursday.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar are unchanged at Rs. 297 and Rs. 304.25, respectively.
At NDB bank, the buying and the selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 296.50 to Rs. 296.85 and from Rs. 304.50 to Rs. 304.85, respectively.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 294.93 to Rs. 295.67 and from Rs. 305.51 to Rs. 306.27, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying has increased from Rs. 294.69 to Rs. 295.43, while the selling rate has increased from Rs. 304.50 to Rs. 305.25.
According to Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 296 to Rs. 296.50 and from Rs. 305 to Rs. 305.50, respectively. (Newswire)
