The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated slightly against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Aug 26) compared to last week.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 297 to Rs. 296.25 and from Rs. 304.25 to Rs. 303.75, respectively.
At NDB bank, the buying and the selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 296.85 to Rs. 296 and from Rs. 304.85 to Rs. 304, respectively.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 295.67 to Rs. 294.68 and from Rs. 306.27 to Rs. 305.26, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying has reduced from Rs. 295.43 to Rs. 294.19, while the selling rate has dropped from Rs. 305.25 to Rs. 304.
According to Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 296.50 to Rs. 295.50 and from Rs. 305.50 to Rs. 304.50, respectively. (Newswire)
