The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated slightly against the US Dollar in commercial banks today (Jan 01), compared to Tuesday.
At Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar are unchanged at Rs. 289 and Rs. 296, respectively.
According to NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 288.75 to Rs. 289.50 and the selling rate from Rs. 298.75 to Rs. 299.50.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 287.12 to Rs. 287.62, while the selling rate has also increased from Rs. 297 to Rs. 297.50.
According to Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates have increased from Rs. 288.50 to Rs. 289.25 and from Rs. 296.50 to Rs. 297.25, respectively. (Newswire)
