Dollar rate in Sri Lanka today

The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated further against the US Dollar in commercial banks today (Jan 08), compared to Tuesday.

At Seylan Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have increased from Rs. 291 to Rs. 291.50 and from Rs. 298 to Rs. 299.50, respectively.

According to NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has reduced from Rs. 292.50 to Rs. 292.40 and the selling rate from Rs. 302.50 to Rs. 302.40.

Peoples Bank reports the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 291 to Rs. 290.66 and from Rs. 301.44 to Rs. 301.09, respectively.

At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased from Rs. 289.66 to Rs. 290.16 and the selling rate from Rs. 299.50 to Rs. 300.

According to Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar are unchanged at Rs. 292.25 and Rs. 300.25, respectively. (Newswire)
