The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated further against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Aug 09) compared to Thursday.
According to Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 296.25 to Rs. 295.75, while the selling rate also dropping from Rs. 305.75 to Rs. 305.25.
At NDB Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has dropped from Rs. 297.65 to Rs. 297, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 305.65 to Rs. 305.
Peoples Bank reports the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 295.96 to Rs. 295.27 and from Rs. 306.58 to Rs. 305.87, respectively.
According to Commercial Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 295.54 to Rs. 294.95 and from Rs. 305.75 to Rs. 304.75, respectively.
At Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 297 to Rs. 296 and from Rs. 306 to Rs.305, respectively. (Newswire)
