A bus carrying National People’s Power (NPP) supporters returning from an election rally in Monaragala earlier today (13) has come under attack by an unidentified group.
According to Ada Derana, the incident occurred after the group attended a public meeting at the Monaragala Pradeshiya Sabha stadium, where NPP presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake was present.
As a result of the attack, four individuals sustained injuries and have been admitted to the Buttala Divisional Hospital for medical care. (NewsWire)
