All candidates contesting the upcoming general election on November 14, 2024, are required to submit their declarations of assets and liabilities in line with the Anti-Corruption Act No. 09 of 2023, the Election Commission said.
In a statement, Commissioner General of Elections Saman Sri Ratnayake said that candidates from political parties and independent groups must submit their asset declarations along with their nomination papers.
Meanwhile, those seeking national list nominations must also submit their declarations of assets and liabilities, the Election Commission said. (Newswire)
