A 31-year-old man and a 56 year old woman have died following a shooting incident in Grandpass, Colombo.
Police reported that the 31 year old victim succumbed to his injuries after being attacked by an unidentified gunman around 6:00 pm last night.
The assailant opened fire on the man and a woman, who was also injured and has been hospitalized. The victims were traveling in a three-wheeler when the shooting occurred, and the gunman fled the scene.
The woman died early this morning in the hospital.(Newswire)
