The prevailing Showery conditions are expected to continue further due to the atmospheric disturbance in the vicinity of Sri Lanka.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Sabaragamuwa, North-western and Northern provinces and in Galle,Matara, Kandy and Nuwara-Eliya districts.
Heavy showers above 100mm are likely at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa,North-western and Northern provinces and in Galle and Matara districts.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere during the evening or night.
The general public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
