IMF team arrives in colombo for 3rd review of Economic Reform Programme

An International Monetary Fund (IMF) team led by Peter Breuer, Senior Mission Chief for Sri Lanka, is set to visit Colombo from November 17 to 23. The team will conduct the third review of Sri Lanka’s economic reform programme, which is supported by the IMF’s Extended Fund Facility (EFF), according to an IMF spokesperson.

This review is a critical step in evaluating the progress of reforms aimed at stabilizing Sri Lanka’s economy and addressing the financial challenges the country faces. The EFF program provides the financial support and policy guidance required to facilitate Sri Lanka’s recovery efforts. (NewsWire)
