The India- Sri Lanka Foundation has invited project proposals in the fields of Art & Culture, Education, Agriculture, Science & Technology, Health, Social Works, Developmental Studies, Tourism and other educational activities at recognized institutions of learning.
According to the Indian High Commission in Colombo, proposals are also invited for visits and exchanges involving students, scholars, academics, artists, professionals and performing artistes.
These may include participation in conferences/seminars, symposia, art exhibitions, film festivals, cultural events, training workshops, and publication of research works on India-Sri Lanka relations in the specified fields.
Additionally, proposals for translating literary works in Indian languages to Sri Lankan languages and publishing them, and vice versa, are welcome, it said.
The Indian High Commission further states that individuals, institutions and groups are invited to submit proposals aligned with the above thrust areas, which would be considered during the upcoming meeting of the Board of Directors of ISLF, scheduled to be held in September 2025.
Applicants may download the application form from the High Commission of India Website (www.hcicolombo.gov.in).
The duly filled application form, along with the proposal, is requested to be submitted on or before 12 August 2025.
