Job Opportunities in Japan’s Health Care Sector

The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) has announced job opportunities in Japan’s nursing care sector for Sri Lankans under the Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program.

In a statement, the SLBFE said eligible candidates who meet the necessary qualifications can apply.

Under an agreement between the SLBFE and IM Japan, these positions are available free of charge to Sri Lankan youth aged 18 to 35.

The jobs offer a five-year employment period with a minimum monthly salary exceeding LKR 400,000. Workers will receive the same benefits as Japanese nationals in the sector.

Applicants must be proficient in Japanese and have passed the JFT or JLPT N4 language proficiency tests, along with the required skill assessments. Both men and women are eligible.

Candidates must also have taken the G.C.E. Advanced Level examination and cannot have tattoos.  (NewsWire)
