A nationalist group in Sri Lanka staged a protest in front of the US Embassy in Colombo, accusing the United States of promoting LGBTQ values among Sri Lankan children.
The demonstration, organized by the “Coalition Against Partition of Sri Lanka,” called on New US President Donald Trump to take action against the current US Ambassador, claiming she was influencing local youth with LGBTQ ideologies.
The protestors also urged Trump to investigate whether USAID funding was used to support the mass protests that led to the ousting of former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa in 2022. (NewsWire)
