We condemn the killing of Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the political wing of Hamas. With the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, it appears that there is an immense threat to
peace in the Middle East region spurred by such blatant violations of international humanitarian
laws.
Our country may also have to suffer the direct and indirect consequences of this in the future.
Although the message of peace is what the Middle East region needs at this hour, it is sad that people in the region and the entire world have to experience the results of such inhumane attacks that are continuously reported.
Therefore, all the countries of the world should stand up for a lasting peace in this region. As leaders who value humanity, we must strongly condemn such coldblooded attacks.
Further, we call on the international community to step up efforts towards ensuring immediate and sustainable truce and urgently needed humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian people.
