A man in Mirissa has lost his luxury boat in a bet held on the outcome of Sri Lanka’s Presidential Election.
According to a video shared on social media, the man handed over his boat, used for whale watching in Mirissa, after having lost the bet.
It is reported that the man had betted against National Peoples’ Power (NPP) Presidential candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake’s victory.
