A stock of drugs valued at approximately Rs. 12 million was seized in Rajagiriya in a joint raid led by the Army Intelligence Unit and officers of the Excise Department.
The operation, conducted in the Rajagiriya area on July 22 based on intelligence received by the military, led to the arrest of a suspect in possession of 2 kilograms of “Kush” cannabis.
The suspect is a resident of Thalawathugoda, Pannipitiya. (Newswire)
