Gunasekara, crowned Miss World Sri Lanka 2024, has made history by becoming the first Sri Lankan to reach the finals in the Talent, Head-to-Head, and Multimedia challenges at Miss World. Her “Beauty with a Purpose” project, Saheli, focuses on combating period poverty in Sri Lanka.
The 72nd Miss World Grand Finale is being held at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, India tonight.
