Around 139,000 primary schoolteachers across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa have announced a strike throughout the province after the government announced the decision to drop their proposed upgradation.
All Primary Teachers Association (ATPA) has announced plans to take to the streets and lock schools on October 7.
