The All Share Price Index (ASPI) of the Colombo Stock Exchange crossed the 18,000 mark for the first time in history on Monday, closing at 18,016.35 after a surge of more than 260 points.
The record high reflects growing investor confidence and strong momentum in Sri Lanka’s equity market, which has seen steady gains in recent months.
