The Police have sought the assistance of the public to identify the body of an individual who had died in a road accident.
According to the Police, the man had sustained serious injuries in an accident in the Pahathgama area in Hanwella on 17 October 2024 and had died while receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.
The deceased is suspected to be 63 years of age, while his identity is yet to be ascertained. His body has been placed at the Colombo National Hospital Mortuary.
