Sri Lanka Police have sought the public’s assistance to apprehend a suspect wanted in connection to the murder of an individual in Sripura on August 16.
According to the Police, two suspects on a motorcycle had opened fire at the victim using a T-56 firearm.
One suspect wanted over the shooting has been identified, but is reported to have fled the area.
The suspect, Kande Lekamlage Gayan Sugathadasa, is a resident of Avissawella and holder of the National Identity Card numbers 850220751V and 198502200751.
The public with any information on the suspect has been requested to inform the Police via 071 8591181 or 025 2255062. (Newswire)
