Prof. K.T.M. Udayanga Hemapala has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), following the resignation of Dr. Tilak Siyambalapitiya.
Prof. Hemapala previously served as Secretary to the Ministry of Energy and was a Professor and Dean at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Moratuwa.
Dr. Siyambalapitiya, who was appointed Chairman in September 2024, resigned in May. (Newswire)
