An investigation is underway into a robbery at the Swiss Ambassador’s official residence in Colombo, where gold jewelry, a diamond-studded ring, and high-end wristwatches valued at approximately Rs. 4.5 million were stolen.

The complaint was filed on Tuesday by the Ambassador, prompting Kollupitiya Police to begin inquiries. Police said the Ambassador left for Switzerland on April 12 and returned on April 27.
