Accordingly, Saudi Arabia has officially submitted its bid to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup. The proposal includes five key cities: Riyadh, Jeddah, Al Khobar, Abha, and NEOM, which is one of Saudi Arabia’s most advanced urban developments. These cities will feature 15 state-of-the-art stadiums, with another 11 newly constructed. Riyadh will be home to 8 of these stadiums,including the new King Salman Stadium, which has a capacity of up to 92,000 spectators. The opening and final matches are planned to be held in this stadium.
The bid features 10 additional locations designated for training camps. Saudi Arabia will offer over 230,000 rooms across the five host cities, aligning with FIFA’s standards. The proposal includes 132 training venues spread across 15 cities, with 72 stadiums designated as Base Camp Training Sites.
The bid book has pre-listed ten key entertainment and celebration sites for FIFA fans, with each site carefully selected from five major cities. These locations include King Salman Park in Riyadh,Jeddah Waterfront, Al Bihar Square in Aba, Marina in Neom, and King Abdullah Park in Al Khobar.

At an official press conference in Riyadh, Al-Misehal announced Saudi Arabia’s bid submission for the 2034 World Cup, highlighting that all government departments have coordinated and cooperated effectively to ensure the success of this global event. He emphasized that the 2034 FIFA will feature a new and unprecedented edition on Saudi soil.
Furthermore, he highlighted that the Saudi Vision 2030 project has catalyzed substantial development in the country, positioning Saudi Arabia as a global player. He also noted that hosting the World Cup is a significant aspiration for the people of Saudi Arabia.
