Veteran Sri Lankan actor Kamal Addararachchi has announced his decision to contest in the upcoming General Election.
He will represent the ‘Devana Parapura’ party, led by Uvindu Wijeweera, the son of former Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) leader Rohana Wijeweera.
Addararachchi confirmed to NewsWire that he will contest from the Trincomalee district. Notably, he had previously supported President Anura Kumara Dissanayake during the last Presidential Election. (Newswire)
